The Dan Beard Bridge
Profile shot of the Dan Beard Bridge, looking east
from the L&N Bridge.
The Dan Beard Bridge carries
I-471 across the Ohio River.
Upon closer inspection of the Dan Beard Bridge, there
appears to be a lower level beneith the roadway.
However
I doubt any motorized form of transportation could fit down there.
Above Photo: Head on shot of the Dan Beard,
going north on I-471 into Cincinnati (at dusk)
Left Photo: One of the bridge piers for the
Dan Beard with distance (in feet?) measured out to bottom of the
bridge. This is for boat traffic when the water level on the Ohio
River is unseemly high
