Old Bellpoint Bridge
For many years US 42, used to take a jog into Bellpoint.
Somewhere in the course of time a new bridge for US 42 was built
to the south of Bellpoint. Later on Oh 257 was re-routed from
this old bridge to US 42 and the old bridge was closed to vehicular
traffic. Within the last 5 years however, Delaware County decided
to tear down the old Bellpoint Bridge (I'm sure safety had something
to do with this). Thus these abutements are all that are left.
